Ozark Junior High Students Videoconference with National Archives

Eighth grade students from Ozark Junior High social studies classes participated in a distance learning program with the National Archives in Washington D.C. on Tuesday, January 31 and Wednesday, February 1, 2017.

This distance learning program titled, The Bill of Rights in Real Life, utilized historical scenarios and primary source documents from the National Archives to teach students the rights and limitations within the Bill of Rights and why it is important for citizens to know their rights.

Additional information about the program can be found on the National Archives website at https://www.archives.gov/education/distance-learning/middle-high.html.
